Urban Leadership Institute will be awarding two prospective students with scholarships to attend the college tours.  In order to be eligible to receive a scholarship, students must submit a 1000 word essay on one of the three topics listed below:

* Research and discuss at least three notable HBCU graduates and their contributions to both HBCU's and the world.

* Express why there is a need for HBCU's and the significance of attending one.

* From a historical perspective, explain why you want to attend an HBCU and include the advantages and disadvantages of doing so.
